, it can be seen that it has been subjected to different changes and more men-made structures have taken place instead
of the fields and Lenton
woods.
In the southwest corner of the map, fields have been cleared to make way for a main railway station in addition
to a railway extending from the southwest to the northwest of the map.
To the right homes have been converted into a shopping, business and residential area. A cinema was also
constructed while
the market square and town hall remained unaltered.
In the centre, Lenton
Woods has been cut down and replaced with two newly constructed buildings: West Gate shopping
Centre and Capitalize word
