While there are some drawbacks associated with learning a new language from an early age, I believe the main benefits are more sustainable.On the one hand, a potential disadvantage of introducing a second language from primary school age may take a lot of time and prevent boosting other important subjects such as mathematics, biology, physics, etc. Adding a foreign language to their curriculum may reduce the time spent on these crucial subjects. Another perceived negative is that not all students may be interested in learning other languages, and forcing them to do this could result in frustration or a lack of motivation.On the other hand, a primary advantage of investing time and effort in understanding and speaking another language from an early age is that children are more likely to become fluent speakers compared to those who start later.
