The bar chart illustrates the comparison of the spending (in millions of euros) on going to the cinema, restaurants and music, people of different age groups from Paris, France in 2019.
Overall
, the swimming activity presented the highest expenditure even though it started as one of the lowest, whilst the jogging/running activity had some fluctuations over the period, it stayed the same as it started under the other three activities. From 1990 to 2019, the figures for swimming grew from around 14% in the first year to almost 35% in 2019.
Although
the percentage of jogging/running improved from 6% to 13% from 1990 to 2000,
this
trend didn't
last
long and began to get worse after 2000 and started to recover until the present day to 15%.
On the other hand
, the numbers for ball games and biking/roller skating followed a similar pattern, both of them presented positive data but over the years they started to decrease. Ball games started with the highest rate in the first year with 34% and ended with 20%,
while
biking had 25% in the first year and after some complications, it ended with a close number as jogging with 16%.
