in many countries, people are now living longer than ever before. Some people say an ageing population creates problems for governments. Other people think there are benefits if society has more elderly people. To what extent do the advantages of having an ageing population outweigh the disadvantages?
Nowadays, many countries face an imbalance in the age ratio of their population, especially when the number of elderly has outnumbered the youngsters, and they can live longer. It triggers a debate whether this situation will give more benefits to society or create further problems for the governments. Nonetheless, I would argue that there will be more drawbacks to the situation described above for some reasons that are set out below.

The government should impose a fee on drivers who use their vehicle during rush hour to help cut down on air pollution from exhaust fumes. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Global warming upholds its position as the most prevalent threat in the 21st century, continuously exacerbating the existing conditions of our planet. Therefore, countries are proposing an equitable number of solutions to alleviate the negative impact of air pollution and one such method is charging drivers a certain amount of fee who drive their machines during traffic hours. I believe that implementing such a drastic law may not be the most effective way to tackle air pollution from exhaust gases. Therefore, I am opposed to the proposal of charging drivers a fee.

More and more qualified people are moving from poor to rich countries to fill vacancies in specialist areas like engineering, computing and medicine. Some people believe that by encouraging the movement of such people, rich countries are stealing from poor countries. Others feel that this is only part of the natural movement of workers around the world.
It is well-known that currently the poor population with less resources but also with enough knowledge, such as engineering, computing and medicine, prefers to live in another place with better life quality. I agree with the idea to improve your way to live and have new experiences moving from your native country.

The most important aim of science should be to improve people’s lives. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
As the science technology is developed fast in these days, people needs to consider 'What is the most critical purpose of science technology?'. Without understanding and thinking seriously about this problem, scientists can make dangerous and non-ethical technology easily. Globally, public world center such as UN make a guideline for alerting this problem and in the guideline, it specifies the aim of science. And it shows science exists to improve people's lives.
