The given line graph sketches out cinema attendance across different
age
demographics in the United States between 2000 and 2011.At the outset, cinema attendance increased for all
age
groups.
However
, the number of people watching movies varied in different
age
groups. In 2000, the
age
group
15 to 24 began to start at 15 %. It gradually increased until it reached 45 % in 2006.
Then
,
this
age
group
showed fluctuation between 2006 to 2008.
After
this
, it rose again and ended at 52 % per cent in 2011.
In contrast
, 35 and up was increased slowly throughout the time. It started at 2 % and stopped at 13 % which showed an 11 times increase when it was at its lowest point.
On the other hand
,7-14 and 25 -35 formed a similar pattern and made fluctuations throughout the period. The
age
group
25 to 35 started to rise when it was at 4 % and surpassed the other
age
group
around 2005 but it suddenly dropped and never tried to overtake again. But in the end, both
age
groups finished at the same point which was at 30% in 2011.
