Examining the men first,
between the age
of 15 to 24 males
do the most exercise, reaching up to 52.8% of the entire male population for that age
. However
, in the following years
, the percentage
of males
doing regular exercises continuously dropped. More specifically, from 24 to 34 years
old, the percentage
dropped to 42.2%, followed by a further
drop to 39.5% for the 35 to 44 age
group
. From this
point onwards, the percentage
experienced small increases, but can never return to its peak at 52.8%. This
is shown through the increase to 43.1%, 45.1% and 46.7% for the age
groups
45-54, 55-64 and 65+ respectively.
Moving on to women, the percentage
of females engaging in physical activities has been increasing reliably as people age
. It started out at 47.7% between the ages of 15 to 24, before overtaking the men in the following age
group
at 48.9%, rising up to 52.5% for the 35 to 44 age
group
and peaking at 53% between 45 to 54 years
old. The two following age
groups
