The line graph compares the number of people who live in cities in the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia during 50 years, and

predicts figures between 2020 and 2040.
Generally, the total urban population of each country has risen during the whole mentioned period. Having said that, the number of Philippines urbanites underwent a decrease after reaching the peak.
In 1970 about 15% of Indonesians lived in cities which was the lowest proportion among the 4 countries but increased dramatically up to 50% by 2020. The same figure for Malaysia started from 30% and rose to more than 70% during this
period and depicted the highest percentage of the non-rural population.
