Overall
, all types of devices witness an upward trend. While
MP 3 players accounted for / the highest rate, the opposite could be seen in tablets

Starting at 10%, the households owning MP3 and mobile phones were the lowest, 10% lower than the highest. Both figures surpassed tablets
at 18% in 1995 and 27% in 2000 respectively. Whereas
considerable growth was witnessed in MP3, smartphones increased slowly over 2 decades and both both became the most popular devices with 98% at the end
of the observed period.
Accounting for 18%, tablets
took the lion's share in 1995, followed by music players and mobile phones. This
figure experienced a gradual climb from 18% to 40% in 2015. Strikingly, since being introduced in 2003, computers rocketed, surpassed tablets
at 35% in 2007 then
grew continuously to 80% from 2005 to 2015 after a 10% rise over the first two years..
