Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The two pictures illustrate how a
wave-energy
machine
works and where it can be located at an optional cost. It can be seen in the first diagram that the process of a
wave-energy
machine
generates electricity. In the first stage, the wave must have a direction towards the bottom of the device so it causes the level of the water to rise and the air in the bottom chamber could be pushed into the second floor of the
machine
. The airflow from the first stage lets the turbine spin and half of the air is pushed into the top chamber
while
the rest is back to the bottom one. In the following stage , the airflow from the previous process lets the windmill in the top chamber rotate and a new airflow will pull into the top area because of the changes in air pressure. In the end, the wind power is converted into electricity. Admittedly, the outputs of the
wave-energy
device
according to
the size of the wave that related to its location in the sea. And of course, the
wave-energy
machine
near the coast requires a low installation cost
while
that deep into the sea requires higher costs.
