The graph below shows the percentages of tourists who used different types of transport to travel within a particular nation between 1989 and 2009. Each tourist may have used more than one type of transport.

The line graph offers insights into the number of different five means of transportation used by tourists, based on the data collected in a particular country over a period of two decades (1989-2009). From an

overall

perspective, the most striking feature is that cars held the predominant number of tourists

while

the opposite is true for ferries. Meanwhile, almost all the figures for transport means witnessed an upward trend, except for planes. It is

evident that there was a remarkable disparity among the surveyed types of vehicles. Regarding information pertaining to the first

decade

, the figure for cars held the lion’s share at the starting point with 47 per cent before observing a growth of 15 per cent.

kind of transportation was followed by railway (39%) and airway (37%), which witnessed an upward trend and a downward trend in that order by tenth-fold per cent. Meanwhile coach enlisted the fourth vicinity and the ferry registered at the lowest position.
