Last week you were on a flight to London. Unfortunately, when you got off the plane, you left a bag there. You did not remember about the bag until you got to your hotel. Write a letter to the airline. In your letter explain what has happened describe the bag and its contents say what you would like them to do about this problem
Dear Sir,
I am writing regarding some luggage I regretfully neglected to take with me following the arrival of flight GE773 from Corfu to London Gatwick at 15:30 on Tuesday 17th June. My designated seat was 64C and my booking reference is AFX19330.
The
bag
is a small brown leather handbag with an embroidered design reading “I love Corfu”. Inside the bag
you will find some cosmetics, a small diary, a mobile phone and various souvenirs. The phone is only a back-up and the cosmetics are replaceable, but the diary and souvenirs have a great deal of personal value so I would greatly welcome their return.
I believe I left the Add a comma
bag,
bag
under my seat in my hurry to get through the airport and did not realise until I got to my hotel. I would appreciate it if you could contact me as soon as possible should you locate the bag
. If you could send it to me by courier service, I would be most grateful. I would be happy to pay for the service.
Thank you for your help, I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,

In fact, the only sentences that can omit linking words are your background sentence and thesis.
