spent in primary school is approximately the same in each country such
as Japan, Spain, Iceland, and the USA, which is around 600 hours
. In the USA there is a significant rise in the number of hours
for the lower secondary at the level above 900, while
other countries don't show such
rapid growth, but still, the teacher spends more hours
in the lower secondary than in the primary. There is an increase in hours
for upper secondary school everywhere, for Spain and Iceland it's around 900 hours
, for the USA under 1200 and for Japan above 600.
