The bar diagram describes the participation counts of males and females in numerous evening courses at an adult education centre in 2009,
while
the pie chart details data about their ages. From an
overall
perspective,
it is clear that
almost all electives attract more men than women, except sculpture. Meanwhile, the oldest age group becomes the most common attendee at these activities. Looking at the details of the first graph, there were 40 girls attending language courses, which was by far the highest among others.
This
number was doubled with those in boys.
This
pattern was
also
followed by drama and painting but with slightly lower figures.
However
, the sculpture study becomes the only lesson where more men (10) come rather than women (approximately 5). Moving to the next graphic, 42% of people aged 50 or older were interested in these classes, which accounted for the majority of the proportion.
In contrast
, individuals aged 20 or less received the least allocation in the category, with merely 5%.
