The diagram demonstrates how the average selling prices of copper,
nickel
and
zinc
changed monthly in 2014. In the very beginning, January, the float of
Nickel
's value was the most apparent, which is 6%.
However
, it kept decreasing in the following 5 months and hit the trough at -3 in June. Afterwards,
Nickel
's price experienced ups and downs, reaching a plateau at 1 in December. Copper and
Zinc
's selling prices changed much more smoothly than
Nickel
's, the relevant amounts in January were 2 and 1 respectively. Both the two metals underwent fluctuations in the whole year and floated around a level of 0.
Finally
,
Zinc
reached 2 and Copper was 1.5. During the entire year, only the % change of
Zinc
rose when compared with the original number. It is worth mentioning that the initial rank of the three metals became completely opposite in the end, with
Nickel
's changing percentage being the lowest.
