Overall

, female students outnumbered males in most subjects except for Art and Design. Communication and Media studies had the highest female enrollments,

while

English language and Literature attracted most male students, and both were popular choices. The top three programs saw quite similar patterns. Communication and Media Study had the highest number of female students.

This

closely resembled the figures in English language and Literature, where approximately 250 females pursued the subject, exceeding male enlistment by 30. In third place, Linguistics had approximately 235 females and 185 males.
