The 2 given bar chart illustrate the rate of pupils who studied an alien language and details about the rank of 3 languages used between 1984 and 2007.

, it can be observed that the proportion of girls and boys who used the foreign language saw a decrease.
Additionally
, the percentage of students using French and German declined ,
while
the opposite was true in Spanish which experienced an increase over the 23-year period. Regarding the first chart which saw a drop in the percentage of students using the alien language, both girls' and boys' figures commenced at nearly 50% and 30% in 1984, respectively. As for girls' proportion, it declined substantially to exactly 40% by 2007. In terms of boys, there was a decrease to about 20% of pupils' using form 1984 to 2007. Turning towards the remained bar chart where the rate of French usage witnessed a sharp decline from 50% to 25% between 1984 and 2007. Followed by Germany's figure, it started at 20% in 1984 before going down to around 15% by 2007. In 1984, Spanish usage began at roughly 2%, where it makes the lowest point of all 3 languages, and
then
grew slowly to 10% by 2007.
