chart illustrates the frequency of eating from fast-food outlets by US citizens between 2003 and 2013 which is divided into six categories from going every day to not going at all.
Overall

and one to two times a month were the predominant categories with the highest percentage of the masses going there once a week
in 2006 while
monthly or bimonthly visits became more popular in 2013. The extremes of daily or never going to such
outlets were least common.
In 2003, almost one-third of Americans went to fast-food chains on a weekly basis and similar figures were noted for monthly or twice-monthly visitors.At that time, the lowest proportion of people were those who ate daily at less than 5 per cent
.There was an upward trend for daily goers and those having several visits per week
in 2006 by three per cent
