You have just returned from a holiday. You are unhappy with the quality of the hotel you stayed in and want to complain to the travel agency that arranged the holiday. Write a letter to the manager of the travel agency. In your letter, •say about the holiday and where you stayed •mention why you are unhappy about the hotel where you stayed •say what you would like the travel agency to do

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing
this
letter to express my dissatisfaction with your hotel. I stayed in one of your hotels in New York City between 16-19th of May. I reserved a single room with a view of the city and breakfast. Unfortunately, I got a room on the second floor because of some changes my room was not ready.
This
information devastated me, to be honest, I really count on
this
view. I love waking up and looking through the window. I have to complain about breakfast too, at the reservation, I checked vegetarian options, but during breakfast only meat options were available. I realize my problems can look like trivia but for me are very important. Because of my inconvenience, I really want some discount for my next reservation. Personally, I believe, it is very unfair to treat guests in
this
way. Thanks for understanding how I am feeling about
this
. Yours sincerely, John Wick

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
