Some people think that universities should provide graduates with the knowledge and skills needed in the workplace. Others think that the true function of a university should be to give access to knowledge for its own sake, regardless of whether the course is useful to an employer. what, in your opinion, should be the main function of a university?

While
a group of people think
that is
better for universities to give certificates with knowledge and ability to their students another group believes only accessibility to information is enough. I strongly agree with the first group because of some reason that I`m going to mention them. Going to university has some causes and one of the most important of these, is having a job. people after high school have a lot of goals and
also
dreams for their future careers. Universities give them
this
opportunity to access their dream job in order, after graduating they will be able to be employed where they had wanted. So without any certificate, there is no company that wants to employ them. There is another thing, which is one of the other visions for students, that they want to continue their education at a higher level namely, mastery. In
this
case, they need their degree too. When a university is going to accept a student at every level they absolutely want the latest certificate of student.
However
, in some special situations having a degree is the latest thing to be important, my opinion can`t be true everywhere. In many countries and many offices or even companies ability is the best value other things do not matter in
this
specific way
this
view can be correct. Even though is correct that having ability and skills are so important and necessary in every situation
also
degrees are the most important in
this
topic. And I think it can be a warning if universities don't give their student any degree, it could have so embarrassing effect. It is like that they work hard without any salary.
