The graph depicts how the population of different species has changed in India over 33 years.
According to
the data, all types started from the same percentage in the 1980s at 100.
Nevertheless
, all results are different. In the period from 1980 to 1997, the Olive Ridley rose,
while
the leatherback turtles constituted a downtrend trend, meanwhile, others went up or down but stayed around the same position.
At the end
of 2012, the Olive Ridley turtles showed us the best result which was a slight rise
whereas
for the whole period, the Leatherback species had a positive tendency till 1988 but it declined to almost half of the starting amount (52%).The greet and all other types of turtles didn't have any significant gap from the start. The end of the period refers to values 90% and 110% respectively for these specified types. In summary, the different gap in results indicates that some of the species can stop their existence in the next years.
