The first chart illustrates the proportion of Australian households in six types of energy use. The second chart depicts the percentage of Australian household greenhouse gas emissions.
Overall
, it can be clearly seen that heating had the highest energy use;
whereas
, cooling was the lowest. Water heating was the largest amount.
however
, cooling was seen the fewer. Observing the pie charts in more detail, the figure for energy consumption by heating was the highest proportion with around 42%. Water heating was the second accounting for almost 30%. Followed by other applicants and refrigeration accounting for approximately 15% and 7% respectively. Another point to be noticed is that water heating in gas emissions was more than lighting with 8%.
