Of these life expenditures, food was the most popular for families since more than a third of family income
at 35% was dedicated to it in 1968. In the second stage were housing and clothing 20% were spent on them in total. Yet by far, the least income
was dedicated to Household goods, personal goods, transport, Pastime activities and fuel at approximately 8% separately.
In stark contrast , however
, families’ preferences altered in 2018. Apparent is the fact that food lost its popularity among families and spending on it dropped to just 16%. contrastingly, rather than spending a mere 7% of income
