You recently returned from oversea by air and left a valuable item on the plane. Write a letter to the airline manager. In your letter .Describe the item you left behind .Say why it is important to you .Explain what you would like the airline manager to do
I am writing to bring the matter of leaving my wallet on a flight by your airline, to your attention.
On the 20th of September, I was returning from a business trip to London, and after an I had long busy week I was very tired. When the plane landed in Manchester, I was asleep and the flight assistant woke me up. Because of that and I was hurry to get home, I left my moneybags in the bag of my former seat .
I need to tell you that my moneybags are very important to me because there are a couple of pictures of my family that have sentimental value for me.
Moreover
, if I don't have my money back again, I have to cancel my credit cards and apply for my driving license again. In addition
, it includes a flash memory of my company where I stored my last
project output, unless it is found, I have to work several days overtime.
I would be grateful if your employees on that plane searched for my moneybags, and if they find it, send it to my address in Manchester.
I look forward to receiving your answer.
Yours faithfully,

The letter covers all task requirements, including a description of the item, its importance, and a request to the airline manager.
coherence cohesion
The text is well-organized with clear paragraphs, making it easy to follow your line of thought.
The Greeting
Depending on the style and aim of the letter, you will need to adapt your greeting.
Always start an informal letter in the ways:
- Dear + name
- Hi / Hello + name
‘Dear...’ is more appropriate, so stick with this.
For a formal letter there are two options for the greeting:
- Use Dear Sir or Madam if you don’t know the name of the person you are writing to.
- Use Dear + surname if you do know their name, e.g. Dear Mr Smith or Dear Mrs Jones.
