Given are two charts concerning the rate of native Australians and foreigners residing in cities,
towns
and rural
areas
in Australia.
While
the first graph compares these figures in 1995, the second one indicates them in 2010. In general, the number of people living in cities has soared considerably after 15 years,
nonetheless
, it experienced a dramatic drop in
towns
and rural
areas
. It is evident from the information supplied that most of the people in Australia especially foreigners, had chosen to live in cities. Of city inhabitants in 1995, not only 60% were emigrants to
this
country and 50% were native, but it reached 80% and 65% respectively in 2010. In stark contrast,
however
, it seems that both native Australian and foreign people lost their interest in adopting
towns
and rural
areas
to live in. From 40% native inhabitants and 30% emigrants in rural
areas
, it plunged to 5% and 15% respectively.
Likewise
, in the number of residents in
towns
, a similar downward trend occurred.
