Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to complain about the quality of some regular products that I have been buying at your supermarket. I am your regular and loyal customer who has always been satisfied with the products in your shop. Unfortunately, I started noticing that the vegetables and fruits which I usually buy are no longer fresh. What is more, they seem to have pesticides because I started noticing rashes and blemishes on my skin. I went to the doctor for a consultation and I have been informed that it is
due to
the contaminated foods. In order to avoid more complaints and losing customers I would suggest changing the supplier and checking the products with the food and veterinary inspection.
This
might help you to ensure the quality of food and satisfied customers. I hope you will manage to take my letter into consideration. Yours faithfully, Meja

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
