The prevention of health problems and illness is more important than treatment and medicine. Government funding should reflect this. To what extent so you agree?

It is often argued that preventing health issues and diseases is better than treating them and hence the government should allocate appropriate budget for it. I completely agree with this view as it will help maintain a healthy lifestyle and save money on medical expenses in the future. Better still, a healthy population is happier and more productive.

A person’s worth nowadays seems to be judged according to social status and material possessions. Old-fashioned values, such as honour, kindness and trust, no longer seem important. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

A group of individuals claims that the large of budget might possibly be considered as a tool to evaluate the values of a person rather than their characteristics. In my opinion, I completely disagree with the above notion since there are a number of aspects that people should highly appreciate to judge one’s worth.

Some people claim that in real democracy artists should be able to express their ideas freely while others stand for a restriction of this right. I firmly believe that this kind of freedom must not be curtailed when it comes to the creative process.

Some parents may worry that pushing their children towards a particular career could be harmful. While I agree it is unwise to predetermine a child’s profession, parents should still offer guidance through open communication.

In recent times, there has been a surge in technology world wide.This has led to the consideration by some people that,with the advancement in technology,our original beliefs and way of life will be abandoned and subsequently lost.I, however,do not agree with this idea.Analyzing, that technology will cause an advancement in culture.

According to some people, young children will benefit if their parents enrolled them in a play school before primary school. Others insist that they should spend more time with their parents during their formative years. In my opinion, there are more advantages than disadvantages to sending children to a nursery school.

In some area of the US, a ‘curfew’ is imposed, in which teenagers are not allowed to be out of doors after a particular time at night unless they are accompanied by an adult. What is your opinion on this?

Teenagers need to be with some adult person in order to go out of their homes at night, because some of the states in the US have placed a ban preventing them to leave their house alone. Whether this regulation is appropriate or not? This essay will look into possible outcomes and how they can be avoided.

Some people say that shops should sell food products from the local area whenever possible, rather than selling food that has been imported from other countries. Do you agree or disagree?

Two centuries ago farmers locally produced food and sold it to the local market. However, the industry has gradually undergone a major transformation in recent years due to globalization and urbanization. This is the case because people no longer live in places where the food grows because globalization has led people to migrate to urban cities. The availability of various food items throughout the world has brought about numerous benefits to people around the world. However, some experts believe that shops should sell the food items which are produced locally and avoid selling the imported food items. I personally believe that sales of local food items should be preferred over the sales of food items from other countries.

According to the psychologists, a period of idleness daily is recommended to tackle our day to day stresses. However, I do not agree with this position as this will lead to overthinking; meditation can overcome the stresses.

In modern society, with the advent of advanced telecommunication and photographic technologies, visual expression in media such as television, photography and films is increasingly becoming popular as powerful means of expression when compared to the simple mundane printed medium.

Advancement in technology has made computers an essential part of our lives. Some people believe that with the increase in usage of digital devices in education, soon there will be no need for teachers. In my opinion, early teaching for children can never be replaced by smart devices but later studies after schooling can entirely be on-line soon.

Day by day upgradation in technology is helping people to make the jobs of human beings simpler and faster, therefore, robots are the biggest example for the same. People believe that soon the robots will be overtaking the manpower of many factories and companies. In my opinion, with the passage of time, robots will be the only one working in many jobs.

Many factors play an imperative role in human development. It is often thought by many people that parents perform the crucial role in bringing up their children. While, others believe that other factors such as Television and friends also have a great impact on a child. I am going to shed a light on both these notions followed by my opinion.

Advancement in the alternative energy technology has prompted many countries to adopt this new form of energy, irrespective of their economic status. While there are a few who believe this is detrimental, I beg to differ, as in my opinion alternative energy will help protect the environment while also ensuring sustainable energy. In this essay we will consider both aspects of the argument, before drawing an informed conclusion.

Although advertising of products is thought by some as a means of motivating individuals in purchasing items that are irrelevant to them, other people consider that it is an effective way of enlightening the public of an existence of new goods beneficial to their lives. In my opinion, I agree that advertisement is the most useful way of creating awareness of various products to the consumers.

Oil, gas and coal are all non-renewable resources. This is known worldwide, as well as the fact that society lives above its demands. Even though fuel prices have increased significantly over the last decade, consumption will still cause these resources to run out eventually. It has been argued that the only way to decrease the usage of fuel is to further increase the prices.

Although many believe that educating girls and boys in the same schools is beneficial, others, including me think that separate schooling is a better option. Mixed schooling at times creates embarrassments while attending separate schools improves confidence in answering questions.

While certain persons believe it is better to read alone, others prefer doing it with a group. This essay will discuss both opinions and state why it is better to study in the company of other people.

It is often thought by some that it is better to accept an unpleasant situation, such as an occupation with no satisfaction or even the absence of finance. Others however believe that there are other ways to improve such situations. In my opinion, I consider finding an alternative means of earning money and learning a skill a preferable ways of living a better life.
