Individuals can do nothing to change society. New developments can be only brought about by governments and large institutions. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

When the issue of citizen’s importance comes into view, there exist conflicting opinions. Truth be told, individuals’ role in developments has generated much discussion recently. Some people believe that any new developments can only be brought about by governments and large institutions. Personally, I completely disagree with the idea that individuals can do nothing to change society for the following reasons.

Restricting air travel is the only way to prevent air pollution. Do you agree?

Some people believe that the only method to reduce the air pollution is to limit the figure of flights. I do not agree with this viewpoint. In my opinion limiting the sum of flights may reduce the air pollution to some extent; however, other measures such as regulating the use of various private modes of transportation such as motorized vehicles and creating awareness about the appalling effects of air pollution can be more fruitful.

Governments should make people responsible for looking after their own local environment. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Our industry and producing have affected the environment to a great degree. Governments in different countries need to help the environment. However, some people think it is our own responsibility to look after the environment. I am positively to this idea.

Some critics have doubted that a wealthy nation is unable to keep the environment clean and healthy while a number of people oppose against this. There are valid arguments on both sides and my reasons are as follows.

In these days, the developing technology advances have aroused people’s discussion. However, there an increasing trend of students who enroll in distance learning courses and more workers prefer telecommunicating. My belief is that the positive aspects of this matter overweight its drawbacks.

At the age when youngsters enrolled in school, they are at the highest level of capabilities to learn new lessons and improve academically and socially. Children's future characteristics influenced by households and teachers, which I believe, in contrast to some people's ideas, parents reverberate more significantly due to the following paragraphs.

It is common today an improvement public well-being is a topic that has risen disagreement among society. Several individuals claim that the appropriate method to increase people state of strength is by developing a number of athletic equipment, by contrast, others believe that it might have slight impact on public and that others activities are needed. This essay will examine both views and provide a logical conclusion.

As health is one of the most important areas of human's life there are many arguments about it. It has been claimed that in the future people are likely to have lower well-being standard. I completely agree with this statement as from my point of view, people's health will deteriorate due to the high levels of stress, sedentary life and junk food consumption.

Nowadays, it has become a trend among modern parents to give some amount of cash, which is commonly known as "pocket money". As many people believe that it has a positive impact in the development of the child, it could impact negatively too. However, I personally agree that it has many advantages in raising a smart kid and this essay will explain in detail.

In many countries, the number of the younger population who are less than 15 years old has increased significantly and to a certain extent, this has a detrimental effect on the society, workforce, and the country. This essay is going to shed light on both current and future effects of this trend in countries where the younger generation predominates the bigger portion of their population.

There are many discussions about modern education in schools. It is believed that school children need to study academic subjects rather than non-academic ones. Although many people support this idea, I strongly disagree with this opinion due to several reasons such as lack of vital skills and weak health.

Government investment in the arts, such as music and theatre, is a waste of money. Government must invest this money in public services instead. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Arts forms such as music, film and sculpture define heritage cultures. In this generation, more importance is being given to the improvement of public services and facilities by the government. People are aware of the government's priority, equal investment must be used for protecting the ancient arts and cultures. I personally think, both fields are significant for the nation's economic as the same as culture development.

Every year several languages die out. Some people think that this is not important because life will be easier if there are fewer languages in the world. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion.

It is true that the usage of vernacular languages is decreasing day by day with a rapid pace and society is adopting major languages for a better communication with people of other ethnicity.Although such trend may prove fruitful for the concept of globalisation, however, at the same time it is a threat to the identity of many local cultures.

People are getting addicted to television these days. Viewers of the media tend to replicate what they see. When television promote violence, the audience is influenced by the brutal violence and it will encourage them to commit the same. I totally agree to this fact.

Education is a weapon which can be used to change the world for good. Few people opine that the fruits of good education depends on the quality of good teachers, whereas others believe that the academic success rests on the attitude of the students. Both arguments have their own viewpoints and a detailed analysis is required before arriving at any conclusion.
