In these days, the increasing market demands in the entertainment industry have aroused people’s discussion. However, It is argued by some that the popularity of portable appliances has a negative effect on individuals and the society lifestyle. From my belief, I totally agree with this idea.

In current company, the politics, should finance public services instead of expending its budget on arts, melody and theatre. In terms of widely-held view among many people, this salary can be utilised to fulfil the increasing necessity for public services like hospitals and schools. I completely agree with this point of view and I will support for my opinions with reasons and examples.

Everyday a significant number of waste materials are being produced through household chores which do not get recycled unfortunately. A group of people believes that government has the sole responsibility to reprocess the garbage by ensuring proper law and order. This essay will explain why government is indeed accountable for implementing the legislative process in order to increase reuse of waste items.

Restricting air travel is the only way to prevent air pollution. Do you agree?

Some people believe that the only method to reduce the air pollution is to limit the number of flights. I do not agree with this viewpoint. In my opinion limiting the number of flights may reduce the air pollution to some extent; however, other measures such as regulating the use of various private modes of transportation such as motorized vehicles and creating awareness about the appalling effects of air pollution can be more fruitful.

In many societies, elderly people often live in retirement homes. This is not appropriate because families should always care for their ageing members. Do you agree or disagree with the above statement?

Today, working people are becoming busier and busier and hence, many of them sent their old parents to retirement homes. It is argued that this trend is not suitable because many other people believe the seniors are the ones who should be cared for. However, I am sure that many elderly people understand and have sympathy for their busy children. In this essay, I will continue to write about my disagreement with the statement in the question.

It is often argued that students who do not take the gap between studies are at a disadvantage compared to students who take a gap in the middle of high school and university studies. However, I believe it is more beneficial for students to take a break in their studies to have a better decision in choosing the streams.

There is an opinion that, primarily, staff members who have devoted many years to working for a particular company should be given executive positions in a company. I disagree with this viewpoint as younger workers may have more advanced skills, and if not provided with an opportunity for a promotion, they will become demotivated.

Celebrities have a vital impact on the conduct of many in the community. Replicating the renowned figures on the screen and magazines has become a vogue in our modern society. I think this happens because of the extraordinary lifestyle and fan following they possess, moreover the endorsements they do act as a catalyst for such trend. Although, I strongly feel that admiring these figures is inevitable by a common person, however, copying them might have a detrimental effect on the society. In this essay we will discuss the thoughts in detail and will draw an inference.

Nowadays, with the development of technology in the 21st century, it has become noticeable that the level of violence and aggression in various TV shows, video games and other types of entertainment for children's leisure is also increasing. Oddly enough, this is a concern for most parents, so this essay will look at the impact of these entertainments for teenagers and children, as well as possible ways to solve this problem.

Some people believe that the advancement of technology will bring a paperless environment such as reading news or magazine articles on the electronic device. I fully agree with this point of view. At the dawn of the new millennium, calculating machines are rapidly gaining its popularity all over. Furthermore, disputation as to whether the exploitation of calculator in gaining knowledge of numeracy skills is worthwhile in the interests of brevity or this hinders students from acquisition of mental arithmetic has been a hotbed of spirited debate, not just within in academia, but also in the press as well as the general public for a considerable space in time. While the majority may stick to the idea of calculators is productive with regard to mathematical skills, I would like to prefer electronic calculators may lessen aptitude of students towards mathematics.

There is no doubt that practical exposure is as important as theoretical knowledge. A number of people think that much hour is devoted to teaching the facts instead of focusing on hands-on experience in all phases of learning, whether it is school or college. I completely agree with the statement and in this essay I will support my view with valid arguments and examples.
