8. Many people say that the only way to guarantee a good job is to complete a course of university education. Others claim that it is better to start work after school and gain experience in the world of work. how far do you agree or disagree with the above views? Give reason for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. ( 7)

It is well-accepted that university certificate or diploma is one of must accesses during many job applications in the current workforce worldwide; therefore, the majority of parents tackle to help their child or children be enrolled in one of the top universities. While many people support that completing a course of the university will ensure a well-paid occupation, others claim that experience gained from work after school is more important to secure a good occupation. I tend to agree with the former. The essay will discuss the importance and necessity of completing a course of university education.

More and more companies are allowing employees to work at home. Do you think this is a positive or negative development? (7)

It is a trend that more people have their employers' permission to work at home rather than in offices. I definitely believe that this phenomenon is beneficial to human history because of the advantages for employees and their employers. The essay will list two advantages, such as flexible working schedule and time saving while working at home.

Many high-level positions in companies are filled by men even though the workforce in many developed countries is more than 50 per cent female. Companies should be required to allocate a certain percentage of these positions to women. To what extent do you agree?

In many countries now the workforce consists of more women than men. Yet, there are few women in managerial positions. Hence, some people argue that a certain number of senior level positions should be reserved for women. In my opinion, this is not a viable solution because it will benefit neither women nor the organizations hiring them.

Recently, the majority of humans are concerned about how clean their houses and offices are. Although some people think having an untidy surrounding effect the efficiency of their productivity, I believe it is crucial to live in a tidy environment with that being both the place you sleep or work at. Because a clean place gives you a boost of motivation and help to avoid losing things.

It is argued that refugees should be provided with basic aid such as food and shelter by wealthy nations. This essay completely agrees with this view / argument because it is a moral obligation and the rich countries can easily afford the expenses.

Both governments and individuals are spending vast amounts of money protecting animals and their habitat. This money could be better spent dealing with fundamental issues in society such as poverty and health care. To what extent do you agree?

It is often observed that a hefty amount of resources is deployed on protecting animals and their habitats by both states and people. It is argued that such resources could be better spent in tackling other basic problems in society namely poverty and health care. I support this view that instead of allocating resources extensively on preserving animals and their natural environment, it is more sensible to address pressing issues of the society.

All cars that burn fossil fuels should be banned and electric cars should replace them. Do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, cars have become a major mean of transportation, but the fossil fuel, which they burn has a detrimental impact on our environment. Some may argue that electric cars should not completely replace the traditional fuel consumption cars; however, in my opinion, I completely agree with the notion that cars which use petroleum and natural gasses should be banned and replaced by electric cars because of the increasing air pollution and global warming.

Nowadays, Sports have gained popularity in today's world. Someone says that sports play a vital role in society. Another believes that it is just considered as recreation pastimes. I totally disagree with this statement, as sports not only help people upgrade health level, but also make a profit for the country's economy.

Nowadays, robotics and information technology are gradually replacing humans in many applications and industries. According to some people, this evolution will bring so many benefits. However, other people may have some concerns that we are not ready for a world in which robotics dominate humanity. In this essay, I will discuss both views and give my opinion that those have more positive influence on human lives.

Developing a child from his schoolings with a great life lesson would make their livelihood better in the future when they are married. Although, it's not the only factor that helps them to become a well parenting adult.

As is known, certain individuals think that news has no relation to the lives of humans; as a result, it is a waste of time reading news in the newspaper and watching television news programs. Therefore, it is utterly claimed that several human beings think news has no association with people’s lives, so it could be a waste of time to perused news within the daily paper and observe news programs on TV. I somewhat agree with the above-mentioned idea as the arguments for and against it are equal. This essay will discuss both sides of the provided argument.
