Fuel consumption has been established as one of the key contributors to rising environmental pollution. Because of this, some people argue that raising energy prices would be an effective way to protect the environment. In this essay, 1 am going to argue that such a policy is futile because it does not address the underlying causes of pollution and other measures are needed.
Many environmental issues associated with petrol including pollution and traffic congestion are increasingly being witnessed these days. Whether or not increasing the price of petrol is the most effective method to tackle those problems has become a hot topic of discussion in the society. Personally, I slightly disagree with this because I perceive there are more various methods could be implemented which would have huge effects on these problems.

In modern times, the issue of petrol price has become highly controversial. It has been suggested that increasing oil prices might help to solve the problem of countless traffic jams and air pollution. However, I strongly disagree with the view, as in my opinion, it may not be as impactful as using other sustainable source of energy, in tackling this issue. In this essay, I will provide some arguments to support my opinion.
There is no doubt that traffic and pollution from vehicles have become huge problems, both in cities and on motorways everywhere. i do not think it can be solved by increasing the price of petrol, therefore I disagree with the statements and I will discuss some other solutions that can be effective.
According to some people, the rise in traffic congestion and overgrowing pollution can be controlled by the increase in prices of fuel. However, I am of the opposing viewpoint and in this essay other possible solutions will be elaborated.

It is universally acknowledged that the problem of pollution due to increase in number of vehicles is snowballing by leaps and bounds. Growing concerns are becoming heated questions among the people. Health and environmental issues are the principle dangers being faced by the people of this century. This dissertation diccents with the given statement. Pollution and traffic are becoming global problems so it is proposed by a few people to increase the price of fuel to control this. In my opinion, the rise of price will put financial strain on the low income group,there are several other ways to control these problems.
Road congestion and air pollution are the repercussion of higher vehicles on the road. Hence, some believe that raising the fuel's price will stop both issues immediately. In my opinion, I believe that it can effectively stop both matters, along with imposing higher tax to vehicles and reducing the cost of public transportation to solve the traffic and pollution issues.
It is considered that increasing the price of petrol is one of the most important ways to curb escalating traffic and pollution problems. However, in my opinion, I completely believe that using other sustainable sources of energy like solar, wind and hydro will immensely help to tackle such issues.
Today, there are many challenges in front of humankind, which need to be sold by hook or crook. Out of many, two problems are growing number of vehicles on roads and air quality control are raised due to increase in population. I do not agree with the given opinion about the hike in the price of petrol as, it is not the only one option to solve these issues. On the other hand, intense use of public transportation and strict rules about pollution control are also effective to limit traffic and harmful gases in the air.
Over the last half-century, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of vehicles. This has resulted in numerous traffic jams especially in the big cities and consequently, high levels of air pollution. Although, there are those who believe that increasing oil prices might help solve this problem. I am strongly inclined to believe that higher petrol prices will have serious drawbacks on our society.
