Many university students live with their families, while others live away from home because their university are at different places. What are advantages and disadvantages of both the situations.

A number of students, who want to pursue higher education, get a chance to live with their parents. Whereas a few youngsters stay away as they come from another locations to do intensive course. Both the circumstances have its own pros and cons that need to be discussed. There are advantages of living at home during study in terms of finance and healthy food. While studying at hometown, students can save their budget as they escape from rental accommodation. Being residing with family, they can eat homemade food, which keep them fit and healthy. However, on the negative side, when they study at home, they are engaged in household work rather than indulging in course work.While examination, it is hard to keep with a study schedule. University life has its positive as well as negative impact on young one's. Taking the positive side, they become strong physically and mentally.They interact with batchmates that helps them to develop interpersonal skills.They learn to be independent, which encourages them to balance between savings and daily expenses. They can also participate in extra curricular activities like cultural events,sports and gym.As a result, they can broaden their horizon. On the other hand, they are deprived of affection, peaceful environment, transport amenities and support from family members.In other words, they feel homesickness, which distract their mind. In conclusion, there are merits and demerits of living in a family and a hostel. It depends on students' own wisdom that how they can spend time in growing age. Parents should think about childrens' intellectual skills, where they can take more benefits.
