Schools are spending more time teaching traditional subjects such as history. Some people think they should rather spend more time in teaching skills that can help students find a job. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. Write at least 250 words.

Knowledge is power. The study of a variety of subjects always works out to a student's advantage.
Therefore
, One must always be eager to learn subjects of all kinds of sphere as
this
makes an individual stay sharp. Subjects
such
as history,
for instance
, not only informs us of what happened in the past, but
also
helps us see through the mistakes once made and the disastrous effects it had on people and keeps us from repeating them. It
also
reveals how culture and traditions are preserved and passed down.
Such
learning is rich! And makes one whole.
That is
precisely what education is! Isn't it? Making one aware of not only his surrounding's but
also
the world at large.
On the other hand
, there has to be much time given to learning skills that help students fetch a job. As
this
is the most relevant subject in
this
day and age. Without which one cannot survive or be independent. In conclusion, I am of the opinion that the teaching of traditional subjects must go on, but
more importance
Suggestion
more importantly
must be given to acquiring skills that can benefit students in the long run.
