The given table illustrates the consumption of five different types of fast foods in the past, present, with a prediction in the future. These statistics are considered in the city, Melbourne. It is clear from the table that the most popular fast food is Hamburgers followed by fried chicken. The least consumed fast food items are fried rice and noodles. Salads are estimated to be consumed in high amounts in the future. The number of units hamburgers consumed in 2005 was 40 with a slight decrease in the present and is estimated to increase to 51 by 2025. The
second
popular item is fried chicken with a consumption of 35 units in 2005 and is predicted to rise by 10 units more in 2025. Salads not among the favourite item in the past with just about 5 units in 2005 and increased to 15 units in the present day. It is predicted that more people would consume
this
dish by 2025 and
this
figure would rise by 8 folds to 41 units when compared to the past. Fried rice and noodles are the least consumed items and it is predicted that there would not be much difference in their consumption.
