The table illustrates the sales of Fairtrade-labelled coffee and bananas in 1999 and 2004. Fairtrade is a category of products for which farmers from developing countries have been paying an officially agreed fair price.

, there are five countries in comparison, the UK, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium, and Sweden.
Firstly
, the Fairtrade-labelled coffee sales in 1999, Switzerland has the highest sales of 3 million euros.
On the other hand
, the UK has the highest sales in 2004 with 20 million euros.
Thus
, there is a huge improvement in the UK because in 2004, the sales of other 4 European countries are far more different from the UK.

, the Fairtrade-labelled banana sales in 1999, Switzerland has the highest sales of 15 million euros. In
