Many high-level positions in companies are filled by men even though the workforce in many developed countries is more than 50 percent female. Companies should be required to allocate a certain percentage of these positions to women. To what extent do you agree?

It has been observed that most of the high ranking officials in companies are men. In spite of the fact that women are more than half of the working people in the developed countries. The argument that a fixed number of these positions should be reserved for women does not seem sensible to me. In my opinion, the job should be given to the best possible people,

, there can be some exceptions to it. The companies should employ the system of a meritocracy.

means that selection should be made based on the skills they possess rather than based on gender,

To sum up, while meritocracy should be used for hiring, there are some areas like parliament where women should get a fixed quota. The idea of forcing the companies to allocate certain positions to women does not appeal to me, and I do not agree with it.
