In today's job market it is far more important to have practical skills than theoretical knowledge. In the future, job applicants may not need any formal qualifications. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There is no doubt that practical skill is most important to get a job. Employers look for the candidates who are capable of delivering the results immediately for which they are being hired. Theoretical knowledge is equally important as it measures the candidate's capability to cope up with changing technology. To say that formal education may not need in future, perspective to the job market is not correct to certain extent due to several reasons.
Firstly
, to develop practical dexterity there are some basics to be understood, which only gain through formal training.
For example
, if someone working with process industry where the operator is handling chemicals at high pressure and temperature. Without knowing the chemical reaction at certain changing process condition how a person can get practical skill. So

philosophy can be achieved only through formal discipline.
Secondly
, practical proficiency may help a person to get jobs and start delivering to the employer expects. But lack of theoretical ability limit the growth in career.
Thirdly
, formal learning imparts the artistry to pupils to compete and bear the peer pressure.
This
accomplishment can never be achieved by having only practical intelligence. Fourth, formal science imparts power on diversified topics which helps people to adjust themselves to fast changing technology and the environment. Concluding the topic, practical artistry may helpful in getting jobs, but not for success in long terms. Choosing only practical art over the formal education jeopardize the interest of both employee and employer. So choices shall be made wisely considering advantages and disadvantages.
