Many countries use fossil fuels (coal, oil, natural gas) as the main source of energy. However, in some countries the use of the alternative sources of energy (wind energy and solar energy) is encouraged. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this development?

Governments across continents have turned their attention to more sustainable sources of

as alternatives to fossil fuel. Personally,

Firstly
, these kinds of

are environmentally friendly since no harmful mission or noxious would be released into the environment.
For example
, there are no chemical processes taking place beyond the creation of a turbine that spins when the wind blows.
Secondly
, wind or solar resource seems to be unlimited. If the sun continues to shine,

then
people can use tidal collectors and hydroelectricity structures. It is undeniable that the

Moreover

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 250 words in writing task 2. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long essay will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 260 to 290 words in writing task 2. This will ensure a concise essay and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 40 minutes to write the essay and you need around 10 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long essay in 30 minutes.
