In many schools and universities, girls tend to choose arts subjects (e.g. languages) and boys choose science subjects (e.g. Physics). What do you think are the reasons? Do you think that this tendency should be changed?

There is no doubt that there is a common pattern in choosing course based on gender. It has been noticed languages are usually prefered by girls while boys like to opt subject which is based on Science in both schools and colleges. In my opinion, I firmly consider

is because ladies have an innate linguistic ability;

re-historical period, the variation can be found.
In addition
to
this
, there is another possibility is that as our patriarchal society conditions the boys to select the subject. In many scientific journals,
for example
, Nature, have published articles about

topic and they provided the evidence which firmly confirms the reason for preference in different sex is due to genetics. Despite the above-mentioned argument, I consider
this
situation has to be changed for a good reason. Currently, everybody supports gender equality in all field of life,
this
should be even reflected in the education sectors as well. It is seen that if girls are motivated to select science-related subjects like boys, slowly, they can prove that they are equally good learning

. There are many lady superstars already holding various significant positions,
for instance
, Prathibha Patel, Preethi Patel and so on. The constant effort and motivation would create a female-friendly society. In conclusion, It has been found that the election of course work is varied among each sex. In my opinion,
this
trend has to be changed, even it is due to genetic. It is predicted that society with equal opportunity for all kinds of sex, will flourish better than others.
