When choosing a job, the salary is the most important consideration. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is acknowledgeable that many people choose their jobs based on the size of the salary offered. Personally, I disagree with the notion that pay is a key influencer when deciding on a career because I believe that other factors are equally important. On the one hand, I agree with the idea that money is necessary in order for people to meet their basic needs.

, we all need money to pay for housing, food, bills, healthcare and education. Most job seekers consider it a priority to at least earn a living that allows them to cover these needs and have a reasonable quality of life. If prospective employees chose their jobs according to enjoyment or other non-financial factors, they might find it challenging and harsh to support themselves. Artists and musicians,

, are prominently known for choosing a career path that they love, but that does not always provide them with sufficient funds to live comfortably and raise a family.

, I believe that other considerations are just as important as what we earn in our jobs.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.
