Each year, your company gives an Employee of the Year award to a worker who has performed exceptionally well. You believe that someone with whom you work should receive the award this year. Write a letter to your supervisor. In the letter - Describe your colleague’s job at the company - Describe a time you worked with this person - Explain why you believe this person deserves the award

Dear ms Hudson, I would be glad to take some of your time for discussing the actual Employee of the Year nomination. I feel that I have some proven ideas about the candidates and their reasons. As you know, I am the Employee of the Year 2021,
hence
, I am keen on
this
ceremony and criteria.
Firstly
, I am proud to give you our department's candidate, John Cummings . He is a manager with proven experience in our company,
moreover
, all the workers in the Marketing section gave their votes for John. It was not a surprise for us. We are working productively with John for the 4
last
years, I saw how he started working as a courier and made his
next
steps.
Furthermore
, now he has a real opportunity to become the head of a brunch and now I hope to see his future roles in the executive team. In conclusion, I recommend Cummings for
this
nomination because he is a seasoned manager and a patient friend who is always ready to help his counterparts. He is one of the most prudent marketing specialists I have ever seen. Thank you for your consideration of my notice. Sincerely yours, Dima Grigoriev.

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
