You have received a letter from your bank, asking you to acknowledge receipt of a new bank card. However, the card was missing from the envelope. Write a letter to the bank's head office. In your letter: • explain why you are writing • express concern about the missing card • ask them what they intend to do
Dear Sir,
I am writing
this
letter in regard to the bank
card
issue. I collected a letter without a card
in it. This
could be in the wrong hands.
On August 15, I received a package from your bank
. On opening, I found only a bank
statement for the last
year. Again today, I got another letter from the bank
asking me to acknowledge for getting a new bank
card
which I never received. I am alarmed at the situation as either the card
got lost or was stolen. Either way, this
can negatively affect me.
Therefore
, I am asking you to examine the issue from your end. Meanwhile, cancel my card
immediately. However
, if there is no mistake on your end, I will have to lodge a police complaint.
Awaiting your response.
Yours truly,
