You have just received a credit card statement from your bank. The statement lists a number of expensive purchases that you are sure you did not make. Write a letter to the bank manager. In the letter: • Introduce yourself. • Explain that you did not buy the items listed. • Say what you would like the bank to do to fix the problem.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing
this
letter to let you know that my credit card
has been hacked recently and the transactions made through that card
are not done by me,
My name is Sanket and my account number is 1234234 and a loyal customer of ABC Bank for the past decade. Yesterday, I have received my monthly credit card
statement and which had multiple transactions of electronic items which I was unaware of. It includes items like a blender worth $450, a television set worth $2344, a PlayStation worth $250 and an air-conditioner worth $800.
Those transactions were executed between the 20th of August and the 25th of August in Sydney, whereas during that time I was undergoing back surgery. I have attached my doctor's certificate and prescription plan with this
letter and which can prove my admission date and discharge date from the hospital.
Firstly
, I would like you to block my credit card
to stop future purchases and secondly
recommend you assign a senior officer to investigate this
fraud and reimburse me the money.
I would also
expect a received confirmation of this
letter to track the progress.
Yours faithfully,
SanketSubmitted by sanketswami8193 on
