The first graph illustrates the percentage change in the amount of available
credit
 and
taxation
 between 1990 and 2010. The second graph illustrates the buyer expenses on three types of goods in the United Kingdom during the same period as the first graph. Seen together, the two graphs suggest that there is a quite positive correlation between
credit
 availability and consumer spending. The amount of consumer
credit
 reached a peak in 2005 (60%), the same could be seen in the second figure(almost six thousand).

, the level of buyer spending appears to be inversely proportional to the rate of
