The charts show the percentage of water used for different purposes in six areas of the world.
The pie charts illustrate the proportions of
water
utilization for three different sectors, industries, agriculture and domestic, in six territories across the world. Generally, a substantial amount of water
is applied in agriculture in most districts, whereas
domestic usage
is the least in total.
It is evident that water
is agriculturally applied by far the most in Central Asia, follow by three other regions, Southeast Asia, Africa and South America
, where the majority of water
is utilized in plantations. However
, domestic usage
occupies the least amount in all regions apart from South America
, where domestic water
usage
allocates two-fifths of the overall
application. Besides
, North America
and Europe are the second highest water
consumers for domestic purposes, with 13% and 15% respectively.
Turning to the industrial sector, water
usage
in North America
and Europe occupies roughly half of the overall
water
consumption in these regions, whereas
all other territories utilize industrially only in minor proportions. Central Asia applies water
by far the least in injuries, allocating just one-twenties of overall
usage
