Dear Katherine, Thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak with you about the role of Residence Services Representative at George Brown College Residence, which I’m highly interested to learn more about. Unfortunately,
due to
my current job schedule until the 9th of March 2023, I am unable to attend the interview on the 6th of March . I request you to kindly reschedule my interview for the next week as per your preferred date and time. I’m available on March 10, 11and 12 though I am happy to discuss a time more convenient for you if these dates don’t suit you. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience
this
may cause you. I look forward to your response.

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
