The graph below shows the percentage change in the number of international students graduating from universities different Canadian provinces between 2001 and 2006
The bar chart depicts the information about the portion change in the number of abroad
students
graduating from universities in eight Canadian regions in the years 2001 and 2016.
Overall
, the data represents the upwards trend of graduates in the period of five years in all the territories except Alberta where a small downward trend is seen. The biggest rise in the share of alumni is in British Columbia where the change is more than 5% from about 4.5% in 2001 to approximately 10.5% in 2006.
Then
, comes New Brunswick and Nova Scotia where a fraction of graduated
students
grew by 4-5% in a half-decade period.
Although
Quebec has a similar level of graduates to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick in the year 2001, the growth was not so rapid, only about 2%.
Furthermore
, in the universities of Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Ontario where the percentage of international
students
was almost the same, the difference between the years 2006 and 2001 is
also
very close. Alberta was the only region where the negative tendency of other country
students
was surveilled.
