The bar graph provides the proportion of Australian men and women in different
age
ranges who used to be physically active in 2010.
Overall
, it can be seen that in 2010, the percentages of females practising an active lifestyle, except for the one related to those aged between 15 and 24, were greater than the proportions of men doing it. Regarding the female categories, the fractions of women aged 35 to 44, 45 to 54, and 55 to 64 were the most active, with approximately 53 of each
age
group engaging in physical activity. Meanwhile, the other 3
age
categories went from 47% to nearly 49%. About physically active men in 2010, their only
age
section outnumbering a female category was that going from 15 to 24 years old, at just around 5% ahead of females in that range. Just following those ages, there was the eldest fraction at approximately the same percentage as the female fraction between those ages.
