The following line graph illustrates worldwide

Whereas
 the table compares the
use
 of
water
 in two countries,
Brazil
 and the Democratic Republic of Congo during the year 2000.
Overall
, it is noticeable that consuming
water
 saw a rise in all three sectors between 1900 and 2000.
Moreover
, the population of
Brazil
 utilized much more
water
 as compared to DRC. To be more specific, the amount of
water
 used for agriculture had an enormous climb from about 500km in 1900 to its peak of 3000km in 2000.
However
, industrial and domestic
use
 were raising gradually till the year of 1940. Afterwards, both sectors saw a marked rise between 1950 and 2000 reaching 1500km in industrial

 and nearly 500

 in domestic consumption. Coming to the table, in 2000 the population of

 and Congo were 176 million and 5.2 million respectively.

, at 359m, was much higher than that in Congo, at only 8m, and

 had 265 times more irrigated land.
