Overall
, Engineered goods and Petroleum products
were the highest earners in both periods compared to the other categories whereas
, Textile was the biggest growing category in value but Gems and Jewellery were the only ones to fall drastically in 2016.
Export has seen a gradual appreciation in earnings in the year 2016. In 2015, the two major exported products
were Petroleum products
and Engineered goods which were approximately more than 55%. However
, in 2016 both exports were above 60%. Furthermore
, Agricultural products
and Textiles were the least earners at around 35% Nonetheless
, there was an increment in earnings in the year 2016. Despite this
, there were Gems and Jewellery which depleted in numbers at the end
of the period.
The values of these products
were changed if compared to both years. Textiles showed a rapid surge which was about almost 16%. Moreover

and Agricultural products
only rose to less than 3%. Although
