Each year, your company gives an Employee of the Year award to a worker who has performed exceptionally well. You believe that someone with whom you work should receive the award this year. Write a letter to your supervisor. In the letter - Describe your colleague’s job at the company - Describe a time you worked with this person - Explain why you believe this person deserves the award

Dear Sir, As you are aware, the Employee of the
Year
award ceremony is around the corner and I would like to nominate Smith for
this
year
's award because of his exceptional performance throughout the
year
. Smith is our Team Lead. He mainly deals with technical discussions with the team. I have recently got a chance to work closely with him when dealing with one of our clients. He was very supportive and cooperative in order to understand the client's requirements and, he even convinced the client of some of the unwanted requirements.
This
was my first time working with him and I was really impressed by his way of dealing with people. He is a very proactive leader who continues to ask for any problems within the project or any issues anyone is facing and tries to solve them at the earliest so that there is minimum impact on the work.
Moreover
, he even arranges for regular catchups within the team to discuss their ambitions and their personal well-being. Considering all the above, I highly recommend him for the Employee of the
Year
award. Looking forward to the ceremony. Yours Sincerely, Rowel

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
